Riding trails into Moholoholo game reserve are included in the volunteer program. However,
riding trails are also available to visitiors to the area at an additional expense.
The Whipalong Horse Trails are conducted in the beautiful Moholoholo Mountain View Game
Reserve bordering the Blyde River Canyon (Third largest canyon in the world).
The reserve covers an area of 4200Ha and is home to a variety of mammals,
birds and insects. Wildlife such as white rhino, giraffe, kudu, eland,
wildebeest, zebra, hippo and many smaller species can be viewed from horseback.
Raptors such as the Bateleur and the White-backed vulture are among the birds
regularly sighted in Moholoholo.
