Captain Hook, suffering from neglect, was brought to Whipalong for care.
He was malnourished and badly infested with ticks. Of particular concern
was a wound on his hind leg which had turned septic as a result of
untreated tick bite.
Despite all attempts to improve his condition,
Captain Hook died 3 weeks after he was brought to Whipalong.
Unfortunately the tick bite had been left too long without
treatment and he was suffering from septicaemia.
Thank you Louisa for sponsoring his medicine and taking care of him.
